I have been teaching since 1999 in the same school in Glen Burnie, Maryland. I started in fourth, then third, then 2 years in fifth, and this is my second year in second. I began teaching 4 months before I married my husband who was a little bit naive about what being married to a teacher would be like. We have two children, a daughter in fifth grade and a son in second grade, right next door to my classroom.
This blog started because:
- my husband would like to not hear everything that happens at school
- I wanted to share postings about my products at TpT and TN and TM
- I wanted to find out about other classrooms in other schools
- I wanted to see if I could start a blog
