I love this book. What a great idea to utilize it for a creative writing activity! I found your blog through Teaching Blog Addict, and I am your newest follower!-KristaThe Second Grade Superkids
Nice to meet you. i left this as a sub activity. In my Children's Lit course, someone read this aloud and it was the first time I had heard of the book. Every time since, I think of how well she interpretted the character and hope that I am even close. Kids can relate because they have the feeling that the world is working against them sometimes. Enjoy the aactivity.
